A three-generation story
In 1962, The Rendez-vous Inn was acquired by Laurence and Maurice Abbet’s family who operated it from 1963 to 1974. Over the years, their desire to meet the needs and preferences of their guests lead to extensive refurbishments. In the 1970’s, the whole ground floor was knocked down and rebuilt as a cafe-restaurant while a carnotzet was remodelled to accommodate small gatherings in a cozy sand friendly setting.
In 1993, owner Michel Abbet, initiated a large-scale renovation with the addition of a veranda and the restyling of the kitchen, bar and dining room
A new chapter began in 2025, when Sylvie Melly-Abbet took over this historic building. To enhance the experience of guests while retaining their loyalty, a total overhaul has been undertaken blending tradition and innovation.
